Odds are it is just an unsupported resolution or sync frequency. Do you have a second monitor attached to this computer? If you do then bring up System Preferences / Display. Click on a button called something like Collect Windows. It will bring both Display System Preferences windows to that screen. You can then change the resolution and sync. Try setting it to 800 x 600 @ 60Hz. You can then set the resolution to the monitor's native res and try different sync settings. If you don't, try doing a PRAM zap. This will reset the monitor setting to something likely to work. -- Clark Martin Redwood City, CA, USA Macintosh / Internet Consulting "I'm a designated driver on the Information Super Highway" --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to Low End Mac's iMac List, a group for those using G3, G4, G5, and Intel Core iMacs as well as Apple eMacs.
