Have you tried this using the native mac OS burning software, iTunes? FREE
alternative to burning software, but it sounds like the problem might be
with converting from analog.

Once you digitize, add them to the iTunes library (through the add to
library menu command in the program).
you then make a playlist by selecting all the tracks you want and put in the
container and then burn.
