My school almost threw out a good logic board for a G3 iMac (400mhz with firewire) and I'm curious if it'll work to upgrade my 350mhz FireWire-less iMac slotload. What i'm wondering is: 1: How easy is it to replace it? 2: should I be worried about heat issues? 3: what kind of damage could this board do to my good imac base if it's gone bad since it was last used (The CRT went out on the donor system, and the board was removed, and placed in storage for parts, but was almost thrown out during spring cleaning.)? Thanks -Christian
