One of the apps that does utilize dual processors in 10.5 is 10.5 itself, to a 
larger extent over 10.4; this is one of the reasons 10.5 is faster than 10.4.

10.5 needs more RAM, and is much more noticeably impaired under low-ram 
conditions (and by sub-par video cards...seriously a 16 Mb video card is SO 
1995), but with a decent (32 mb or better) video card an 1gb ram or better it 
flies, even on slower CPU's.
