Malcom, The version of iPhoto you have installed on your machine—which is the version that will be reinstalled from the original disks—does seem to be too old to run under the new kernel of Leopard. Unfortunately, reinstalling from the original disks won't change the fact that Leopard won't recognize the old version of iPhoto that you have. Out of curiosity, what version of iPhoto are you running? If it's iPhoto 2, Apple's response is rather terse: To use iPhoto 2 on a computer running Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, upgrade to a newer version of iPhoto. If you're running a newer version, though, then there may be a separate problem.
