The ONLY thing you've said so far is that you're having difficulties with ONE 3rd party product. AND that that product's developer has said there is a BUG to be delt with. That is NOT a system corruption. At best it is a complaint about engine of your car because the windshield wiper is flopping around. The solution is, as per the developer, to disable that 3rd party product until he releases a fix!
Download of combo 10.6.5 will not mount and reported as file is corrupted whereas every other dot dmg file i have downloaded even the latest iTunes mounts. So what's up with that ?
The downloaded file was corrupted. Probably a telecom
issue. Trash the DMG file you have and re-download it. Get
it from APPLE not via some 3rd party.
The programmer of MyLivingDesktop said that Apple is aware and is working on a fix of 10.6.5.
A bug in either the OS or MLD. NOT a corruption.
Which begs the question... Apple makes seeds/alpha/beta
test builds of the OS available to ALL of the software developers.
Why wasn't this issue delt with *before* the release? Sounds
like the developer dropped the ball, to me.
I just wonder if some of the problems i have read about are also related to the huge array of apple intell's on the market.
What problems? Be specific. Out of the millions of
Mac users, there are maybe a handful of loud people having
problems...
