G'day all

First, Kelly, I'm sorry the disk did not mount. It's been used a lot in the
past, and may be scratched, or have finger prints on it. Try cleaning it with a
cotton rag or clothing.

Second, Chris, the disk is an original Snow Leopard install disk, in the
original box.

Regards

Santa

I find it interesting that it would take the disk then spit it out. Is the disk
a white disk that looks like one that would show up in a Google Image Search
for "Snow Leopard DVD", or is it a grey disk that says "Mac OS Restore" or a
copied disk?

One thing to try would also inserting the disk while the system is running and
going to (I believe, I'm on a PC right now), Apple Menu>System
Preferences>Startup Disk and selecting the SL disk as the starup disk then
hitting restart.
