Did you opt in for Apple Care when you bought the computer? I always buy
it for 3 years and it gives you unlimited access
to Tech support, parts replacement (I got a new harddrive that was bigger
than the one they took out!) If there's an Apple Store near you, call and
make an appointment with a "genius" who will help you without Apple Care on
their products. I went to one today because my iPhone 4S wasn't making
calls. She took it into the back room and came out 5 minutes later and
said there was a little dust in it. Now works great!
