Hi Troy, Hello All, Wonder if someone might have some insight here. I ’ m researching setting up a wireless connection between two hangers at our local municipal airport. I don ’ t know the approximate distance yet but I wanted to know if anyone here has ever done any wireless networking with a range of about ½ mile or so , and would care to share their experiences. I go about 4 miles through downtown Montpelier without any problem I am running at 18mps. No problems works like a charm. I use Proxim QuickBridge20's 5GHz - they may not make that model any more but they have others - http://www.proxim.com/products/bwa/point/quickbridge/quickbridge2/index.html Mindless simple to set up and maintain - I originally went with Cisco Aeronets but did not work out - spectrum was full, too far for not perfect line of sight etc.  Plus the Proxim were much less $$ -Nick Please feel free to contact me offline.
