Why not just set flush-content-cache-on-success to True as default? It would save disk
space and prevent confusion of this nature, especially when other boot environments are
involved. People new to the OS wouldn't also think "oh, OpenSolaris uses so much
more disk space".

1) zones in the near future

2) pkg fix

3) a more intelligent mechanism to age and clean cache files is on the way

4) separation to different filesystem
