Hans,

It is a good idea to update InterMapper and InterMapper RemoteAccess to the
latest version (4.6.9). In the interim, you should increase the amount of
memory available to the client, as described in this Knowledge Base article:

http://forums.dartware.com/viewtopic.php?t=178&highlight=info+plist

Note that this setting won't be preserved when you upgrade to 4.6.9, so you
will need to re-enter it after upgrading.

Does your main map have any background images? Background images use more
memory.

You can also try adjusting the Animation speed in the Preferences to see if
that helps.

Subject: [IM-Talk] Limitations of Intermapper

Folks,

Lately the main map using IM-remote preforms when editing very slowly.
A discovery of a new device (interfaces)in this map will take 5 min.,
Dragging is also very slo..wly.

It could be this older IM version I have ordered the new one , but if
anyone has a idea to diagnostic please respond.

This map contains 192 objects.
8 drilldown maps
184 devices snmp V2

I am using the following configurations

G5 1.8 GHz server Version 4.5.5 (PPC/Darwin, Build 72141)
G5 1.8 GHz client Version 4.5.2 (Build 6B163)
