   It's a bit unusual perhaps but I'd like to try and do one more round of pull
request splitting please:
   * #195 had 93 files with "easy" changes left after splitting,
   * #196 here then will have 88 files with "medium" changes left (specifically
files that had only removals and/or relocations of @SuppressWarnings (on its
own line _or_ as part of a method signature) and/or additions of `<Object>` or
`<Object,Object>` or `<?>` or `<?,?>` or `<>`),
   * leaving a third future PR with the "interesting" changes in 257 - 88 = 169
files.

   The main benefit of splitting, in my opinion, is less context switching when
reviewing the easy and medium changes and therefore then more focus on the
interesting changes.
