There's an inconsistency bug at the least. The HTTP method ought not to matter 
but apparently it does. I'm also surprised to see 
{{/solr/select?....&collection=poi}} actually work.

An aside, I dislike the "collection" param.  It's redundant with the path, adds 
confusion or possible a security concern if you could switch to refer to 
another collection.  It's unnecessary.
