Qualifications: Extensive experience with particular focus on data quality improvement initiatives in a large-sized organizations High levels of analytical, logical and deduction skills. Understanding of MIS Systems such as data warehousing, database marketing, campaign management and business intelligence/ management reporting systems. Technical skills in Teradata SQL, databases, and data structures. Ability to present and articulate proposed solutions and alternatives, both written and verbally Strong development, modeling, support, quality management skills. BID Data Warehouse knowledge preferred Responsibilities: The Senior Technical Architect is responsible for the cross-functional effort to improve the quality of the data retained in the Data Warehouse. One of the key deliverables is audits that is used to identify and understand data discrepancies. This role will involve analyzing the data in this large Teradata environment, auditing the information, identify discrepancies and resolving them. Experience working in a large data warehouse environment is essential (30 TB +) Ability to interpret logical models and develop reasonable subject matter expertise in a relatively short time Work with the business and IT in respect to the data interpretation, data warehouse and BI audits, balances and control of current reporting and information delivery. Required Skills: Data Modeling (must have data quality program background). Data Warehousing. Structured Query Language. Teradata Development. Unix.
