Description: Proficient in test planning, test design, and execution of software in a multi-tier environment. As well as being highly technical, a successful person will be detail oriented, self-motivated, team oriented, have strong communication skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously. REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: 1. Must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced testing environment with aggressive deadlines and the skill to multi-task projects concurrently. 2. Detailed knowledge and experience developing test plans, scenarios and scripts based on requirements and technical design specifications. 3. Proficiency in various software tools that are used to support testing processes and metrics reporting, including WINDOWS, Excel, Microsoft Word, and trouble tracking tools. 4. Understanding and experience testing multiple releases and ensuring the test environments are aligned so that testing is performed with the correct levels of code including all interfacing systems. 5. Experience in testing web-based applications. DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: 1. Requires a working knowledge of UNIX platform and capability of data mining to secure datapoints for testing. 2. Ability to work with automation tools to enable the regression suite to be mechanized. 3. Experience with TOAD for viewing data in database. 4.
