Location: Richmond, VA Duration: 3 Months GC's or CItizens Preferred VMWare Engineer Job Summary: VMWare engineers will work on a project team at the direction of STM to execute a plan to utlize VMware solutions to consolidate the client's 40 servers to a smaller number. The implementation may include installation and configuration of SAN solution in addition to server hosting VMWare solution. The selected engineer must be able to work on a team, take direction, communicate with technical and non-technical client personnel and have significant experience in VMware virtualization environment. Job Responsibilities: Participate in a Managed Solution project implementin VMWare technology for consolitdation of servers. · Review VMWare findings and develop final architecture design for new environment. · Assemble and execute hardware order to execute project · Configure hardware and design virtual server distribution · Develop migration plan for move to virtual environment · Develop training plan for client staff to be executed in course of the migration · Develop documentation for new enviroment to be delivered to the client Experience Required: · 2+ Years VMware implementation · 3+ Years with VMWare Support (training experience desired, not official class) · 2+ Years with SAN solution · 3+ Years with Microsoft Technologies (Active Directory, Exchange 2003) · HP Proliant knowledge desired Other Skills · Excellent Communication · Customer reporting and presentation · Project experience Education or Certifications Required/Desired: Required - Bachelors Degree VMWare Certification Desired Windows Certification (MCP or higher) desired Lisa Valentine Account Manager Data Group Inc 732-734-5335 l...@datagrp.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "IT provider" group.
