Duration: 6 Months Billing Rate: $45/hr on W2 Websphere MVS - The successful applicant will join a team responsible for providing support for Middleware products used within the organization. Key aspects of the role will include: Technical support to development teams and to assist in the analysis, design of environments. Planning, implementation and specification of changes, enhancements, and additions to existing systems. Troubleshooting, on-call and Problem Resolution support for operational issues 24x7 relating to Middleware products. MVS experience is critical to this role Required Experience: Minimum of six years experience in an IT organization in a support / systems administrator role. Experience installing, configuring and managing with more than 3 of the following products: WebSphere AS, WebSphere Portal, WebSphere, Commerce, WebSphere Datastage, Weblogic AS, Apache/IHS, SunOne Webserver, or other webservers, Other like products. Experience with multiple operating systems including, Windows, UNIX, AS/400, and OS/390 experience including scripting experience. Experience in a high availability environment, preferably working to SLAs. Preferred Experience: Knowledge/experience with WebSphere MQ, WebSphere Process Server, Tibco Business Suite, and other like product support. Experience implementing SOA and messaging solutions. Understanding of programming - application development experience with J2EE and/or other like languages. Ability to utilize scripting languages a plus. Directory Services knowledge. Experience using Active Directory / LDAP and other access/identity product support These positions are for a Middleware specialist. Required support skills are with the following products as well as related/similiar products: WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere Commerce Suite, WebSphere Datastage, Weblogic AS, IHS/Apache, MS IIS, IBM Directory Server and other like product support. MVS experience is critical to this role.
