Location : Secaucus, NJ

Unix System Engineer

Critical point is that this candidate must be a true engineer, that is, they
must be able to understand and develop solutions, when you review your
candidates make sure you ask them,

who was responsible for the solutions listed in their resume, why they did
it that way(what were the constraints) what were the different solutions
possible?

what could have they done differently, and why?

When they answer these questions, if they cannot explain it in a way that
would sell it to you, enough so you could understand it, as a lay person,
then they may not be a match.

Find me 2-3 very sharp, well spoken Unix SA’s with relatively good job
history. No problem with H-1’s. Paid hourly and will probably work 45-55
hours per week. Get paid for every hour they work. People stay on contract
for years there. There may only be 3 other vendors working on this one.
Please qualify if they have been previously presented to NYK or have
interviewed there in the past couple of years. That is important
information since this group is relatively small. Located in Secaucus NJ.

Thanks
