Position: BA with strong customer data analysis experience vs transaction based

Location: Jersey City, New Jersey

Duration: 4 - 6 + months 

Best rate: ALAP on W2

Still need to have annuities/life insurance background 

Must haves: 

    a.. Senior Business Analyst - Requirements Elicitation, Analysis and 
Documentation (5-7 years) 
    b.. Knowledge and experience with CaliberRM and Quality Center (preferred) 
    c.. Experience working on large data projects preferably related to 
customer information 
    d.. MDM environment is a big plus
Responsibilities: 

    a.. Responsible for gathering, analyzing and prioritizing business and 
functional requirements for Customer Data 2012 Discretionary project using 
tools and techniques of AXA's System Development Lifecycle 
    b.. Provides functional guidance and knowledge for all business 
requirements work in developing the Business Requirements Document (BRD) for a 
system development project 
    c.. Responsible for developing subproject / workstream BRDs for Customer 
2012 project. Must be able to work proactively and cohesively with other 
workstreams to ensure complete project coverage 
    d.. Champions defined standards and methodologies from the AXA Equitable 
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and CMMi program 
    e.. Responsible for specifying the functional characteristics of the system 
solution and working with Business experts to signoff 
    f.. Responsible for ensuring that the technical design team thoroughly 
understands the requirement and responsible for signing off that the technical 
design answers the requirements 
    g.. Responsible for ensuring that the QA team thoroughly understands the 
requirement and responsible for signing off that the test approach answers the 
requirements 
    h.. Actively supports the goals and activities of the BA Center of 
Excellence
Required Experience: 

    a.. Experience in developing and documenting business requirements for 
complex financial and data applications 
    b.. Experience with formal business analysis techniques such as use case 
analysis, business process reengineering, Data Flow Diagrams, Data Modeling, 
Prototyping, and Entity Relationship diagrams 
    c.. Proven capacity to learn complex financial products and new business 
domains rapidly. A knowledge of annuity and life insurance products and 
services, including data providers within industry would be an advantage 
    d.. Extensive experience in managing the requirements development process, 
including ensuring completion of requirements documentation and that all 
reviews and approvals are obtained and fully documented, and that proper change 
control is followed once the BRD is baselined 
    e.. Experience with quality initiatives such as CMMI, Six Sigma and / or 
ISO 9000 to ensure best-practice processes and procedures are followed 
    f.. Comfortable interacting both with expert business staff and highly 
technical staff. 
    g.. Experience of working in a matrix environment including offshore 
development teams 
    h.. Must be adaptable to using various documentation methodologies, and to 
analyze vendor documentation and specifications on existing software packages 
    i.. Experience with the analysis and implementation of vendor package 
applications
