*Job Description:*

The Storage Administrator is responsible for the design and administration
of the Storage Area Networks (SAN) including: the storage arrays, the Fiber
Channel (FC) switches and routers, the Network Attached Storage (NAS), and
backup and recovery and archiving (BURA) solutions.



*Requirements:*

Storage Area Networks (SAN) leveraging a Fiber Channel switched fabric.

EMC CLARiiON, Centera, MirrorView, Avamar, Celarra, RAINFinity FMA and EMC
tools such as NaviSphere and ECC.

Microsoft DPM (Data Protection Manager)

Backup and Recovery strategies and solutions with Strong working knowledge
of Disaster Recovery principals and processes

Design, Development and Implementation of Storage Solutions.

Data Protection Theory and Practice.

Daily Operations and Support to include Information/Data Life Cycle
Management.

Communications; excellent organization, oral and written communication
skills.

Leadership; must coordinate activity with other technical and business
personnel to identify and implement storage solutions that best provide
business requirements.



*An ideal candidate must have strengths in some of the following areas:*

Working knowledge of multiple OS: Unix/Linux and Windows.

Deduplication and Archiving.

Storage Virtualization.

Databases (SQL Server knowledge is a plus).

Working knowledge of network systems and network principals; data and voice.

Strong abilities to Plan, Present, Design and Architect current, interim and
future Storage Technologies growth and update cycles leveraging cost
effective methodologies.

Strong abilities to work.



*Minimum Qualifications:*

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology.

Minimal of 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience (EMC CLARiiON Storage
preferred).

MCSE Certification and/or Linux-based Certification.

EMC Technology Architect Certification preferred not required.

EMC Proven Professional Certification preferred not required.

Demonstrated ability to succeed in demand-driven, unstructured environments.

Experience in establishing/setting/enforcing strong
standards/procedures/processes in a Storage Engineer role.

Strong, up-to-date, technology skills in a variety of technologies.

Excellent people management skills.
