Onsite No Remote 6+ Month Contract - 8+ years of data warehouse or application development experience - minimum of 4 years in a Technical Lead, Lead Developer or Solution Architect role. - Expert understanding of *Business Intelligence, ETL, and Data Warehousing*. - Expert at data modeling multi-dimensional schemas using Erwin. - Demonstrated in-depth understanding of all components in a typical distributed application. - Distributed application development experience on a .Net or Java platform including web services and XML. - Experience leveraging ORACLE database technologies in a high transaction volume environment. - Experience developing complex PL/SQL queries, functions, and procedures . - Working knowledge of UNIX and Windows Server 2008 operating systems as related to application security and basic troubleshooting. - Experience developing management reports on a enterprise reporting platform such as *SSRS, Crystal Reports, Cognos or Oracle BI.* - Utilizes version management utilities such as PVCS, VSS, CVS to maintain code and comply with SCM principles and policies. - Familiarity with basic networking concepts including IP configuration, firewalls, routing etc. - Able to prioritize and drive individual and team efforts in a fast-paced environment. - Must be able to confidently and clearly communicate with and present to technical and business colleagues. - Knowledge of server, database and query tuning and optimization is a plus. MUST HAVES: - To lead the technical design and development of Operational Risk’s Data Warehouse project. - Expert in *Data Warehouse *design and development in a Oracle Environment Expert in PL-SQL and Database Development using tools such as Erwin and Toad - Experience being a team leader in a software development or* ETL *development environment - Strong communication and analytical skills - 7+ years of experience Experience at a large financial institution Can this individual work remote?
