*Position*: Data Modeler *Location*: Wilmington, DE *Duration*: long term possibly 2 years *Required face to face after a phone interview * Data Modeler who will be responsible for the design of Logical/Physical data model based upon the analysis of complex business requirements. For this position the candidate will work closely with customers to understand their business processes and data needs and participate in the design and development of the logical/physical schemas for the DW data model. The DW data model encompasses Operational Data Store and Dimensional layers. An understanding of Oracle 10g and SQL is must. Experience with multi-dimensional database concepts is required. Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are *absolute *requirements of this position. *Required Skills:*** · Minimum 3-5+ years experience modeling complex databases using 3rd party modeling tools such as *ERWin 7.2* · Experience designing and building *large financial services data warehouses* with *very strong* data analysis skills · Have good knowledge of *ER/Dimensional modeling* and have extensive experience in developing logical and physical data models in complex, multi-application environments. · 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in data management, data warehousing, data transformation, metadata and reference data management and business intelligence tools. · 3+ years of experience with advanced SQL query techniques using TOAD, SQL Navigator.
