Di XP 32bit karena 24bit RGB + 8 bit alpha channel. 16 bit karena pakai 5 bit u R & B dan 6 bit untuk green. (kayak sensor kamera dengan Bayer pattern, dimana sensor G 2x sensor R atau B).
plus ya mungkin memang berhubungan dengan kelipatan word dan bytes.
