Seeking Front End& Back End Rock Star Software Developer to disrupt travel
industry
Position: Front End & Back End Rock Star Software Developer
Business Unit: Engineering
Location: Jakarta, Indonesia
INTRODUCTION
A well-funded, stealth very early start-up in travel space is looking for one or
two software developer rock stars to be a part of this special company. You will
have the opportunity to architect and develop a travel platform from the ground
up with potential expansions to other related industries. Ideal candidates will
be motivated to be part of a startup environment and have passions for creating
and delivering solid products, that will disrupt the travel industry, for they
are building something that they own too since we will reward our employees with
generous equity in the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Manage architectural strategies as it relates to planning and tactical
execution
§ Build strong, clear vision based on deep understanding of technical, customer
and industry needs. Ensure product that is developed maps to customer and market
requirements
§ Work with engineering, marketing and operations to bring products to market
§ Evangelize company's services and solutions
§ Manage cross-functional projects by providing project leadership and daily
technical expertise throughout the project from inception to delivery
§ Proactively identify, prioritize and drive resolution to project technical
issues
REQUIREMENTS
§ Passion for software architecture and engineering
§ Ability to write well-abstracted, reusable code
§ Experience in developing and implementing complex algorithms
§ Excellent communication skills
§ Ability to work well independently and collaborate with remote teams
§ Highly advanced knowledge of server-side programming languages and practices
(No specific language requirement. Just be able to code properly)
§ Highly advanced knowledge of databases and ability to create complex queries
(MySQL preferred)
§ Good working knowledge of JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax, HTML5
§ Good working knowledge of Linux / Unix
