Hi there, You don't have to, it's up to you. Start JAWS 7 and make sure that "Automatically Start JAWS" checkbox is checked. Then start JAERS 7.1 and uncheck this same box. This box can be found at Basics dialog under Options Menu. Cheers, Joseph
