[JAWS-Users] windows live messenger

I have jaws 9.0 and windows x p and i have friends on yahoo messenger so I am 
using windows live messenger and i have to stay in the history fild of the 
conversation so i can tell when they send me a message that is when they talk 
and I am in there window but if i am not in the window doing something else on 
the computer i get the message.  can i get scripts fore that or what is wrong,
