Hello Thomas,

I've been having this issue since some days. I hope you can help.

When I check in the system information page, the file.encoding is ANSI_X3.4-1968. I am using Ubuntu 12.04 and all the codes are in UTF-8.

I tried changing the system locale to UTF-8(|LANG / LC_ALL=en_US.UTF-8), exporting -Dfile.jnu.encoding=UTF-8 to JAVA_OPTS, adding it in the .bashrc but I am still unable to change the file encoding to UTF-8 from ANSI_X3.4-1968.
Can you please help me with this.

Thanks in advance,
