But new build job configuration can't be saved!
Just take a look on the second part of the log, one with header "NullPointerException during saving of the new job configuration".
What migration from using old version of the plugin to the new one?
Resaving configs of the already created build jobs impossible - (see "NullPointerException during saving of the new job configuration".)
Creating new build jobs based on the old ones leads to the same exception as it is described at "NullPointerException during saving of the new job configuration".
How it possible to make work with Jenkins server with already hundreds build jobs set? It is Windows-based Jenkins
