Hi, David:

thanks for response, I rebooted ubuntu and restarted tomcat(startup.sh), 
db is supposed to be fine as the default page 
woris(http://192.168.19.130:8080/jetspeed/portal), but I still got the same 
error as follows:
$mvn jetspeed:mvn -Dtarget=all

[ERROR] Failed to execute goal 
org.apache.portals.jetspeed-2:jetspeed-mvn-maven-plugin:2.3.0:mvn (default-cli) 
on project jetexpress: ...FAILED[code=1]. -> [Help 1]
[ERROR]
[ERROR] To see the full stack trace of the errors, re-run Maven with the -e 
switch.
[ERROR] Re-run Maven using the -X switch to enable full debug logging.
[ERROR]
