Thanks for the tips.  The url take you to instruction that is for 1.4b5. I 
am using 1.4b4.  In 1.4b4, there is no JetspeedLogFactory services entry 
in the JetspeedResources.properties file.  In 1.4b4, the log configuration 
is in TurbineResources.properties.  Is there instructions for 1.4b4?  I 
have the same problem.  Thanks.

Tao, take a look at the configuration guide. It gives you an overview of 
logging
settings. With Jetspeed 1.4, you can actually configure logging as 
detailed as
for a single class. Look at
http://jakarta.apache.org/jetspeed/site/config_guide.html#Set%20Jetspeed%20logging
