It does come with software, but it has been my experience that with products like this, the company's software is not necessarily the most accessible. Others on this list have suggested Apple Tv, and I'm not at a place where I can afford that. Also, I would like to be able to record programming that is on local television to my pc as my Speakeasy vcr went to vcr heaven in 2012. Any information, pro and con, is very much appreciated.
