I am going to test it in Linux. Former plugin, despite the script modification,
wasn't working 100%. Anyhow jython is a good resource for Openjump.

I agree to this idea. I am currently working on a statistic cartographic
project and planned to use Pirols plugin on OJ.
I was wondering if some extra statistic tools would be useful for OJ. I like
your idea of a Tool>statistic category and sooner I will send a feedback/test
on my projects (plus some ideas)

I think I will post this comment to Sextante list. Really Sextante on OJ
requires more work 1) other raster format support (who knows how?) .adf,
.asc... 2) less memory usage (Sextante/OJ frequently freeze
