Make sure that the FE-8 has 256MB of RAM. The FE-8 w/ 128MB is not supported past 5.2.
If the line card the copper based one or the SFP one? If it's the SFP based one make sure you have Juniper supported SFPs, otherwise it will fail BPOST.
