We are running into some wonky issues with some servers interfaces linking to
an EX-3200-48. In our troubleshooting, I set an interface (ge-0/0/1) to
hard-set 1G/full-duplex (instead of the default autoneg). That didn't cause any
'issues' per se, but when I attempted to deactivate this section of the
configuration, I got some odd messages, and I ended up having to delete the
options instead of merely deactivating them.

Configuration portion in question-

=========================

[edit interfaces ge-0/0/1]

da...@nap-r13-san-2# show

description hyperv12-san-2-2;

ether-options {

    no-auto-negotiation;

    link-mode full-duplex;

    speed {

        1g;

    }

}

The command-

da...@nap-r13-san-2# deactivate ether-options

The error-

da...@nap-r13-san-2# commit check

error: could not add object to patricia tree

error: failed to add object created in interface-range

error: copy of interface-range hierarchy failed

error: interface-ranges expansion failed

[edit]

Like I said, when I deleted this section everything was fine- but has anyone
else run into this? Figured I'd ask here prior to opening a ticket with JTAC.

Thanks,
