I hope I'm not intruding here but I did not find a users list or a lot of
documentation on the web site. I found Kat when I was searching for metadata
support in Linux/KDE and have installed it and have been letting it run to
index all my files, however its taking days on my 1.2GHz laptop and I have to
keep pausing it everytime I want to do anything. Is it possible to run the
Index on another system with a copy of my data and then copy the index database
back to my laptop? If so where is the index database stored? I have built a
small backup server, while it is slower it is idle all the time except for when
I rsync my files over at night. I'm hopinh to let it run all day long and then
synch the index files back down to my laptop once a day when I synch my data
over.
Thanks
Eugene
