I installed Fedora hoping it wouldn't be a problem but the >bug started happening after adding the Flathub remote<. This confirms Laosom comment: "Disabled only flathub.org , fetching updates is working properly and not stucked." Without Flathub the bug doesn't happen. I should note Fedora is still on Plasma 5.22.5-2 and Gnome Software is unaffected by the issue.
