Having the ability to focus on tags with "people alive", while tagging new photos, will speed up this process. One thought about the implementation: I think, it would be handy, to have the ability to assign one tag (e.g. "John Doe") to more than one group (e.g. "People living in Springfield", "People alive", "My bowling group", ...).
