Thank you for your bug report.
Plasma 6.1 now supports the configuration of Modifier-only shortcuts without
the use of special-casing them in kwin. They are handled with all other
keyboard shortcuts, both in the code and in the UI.
Editing configuration files manually is no longer necessary. You can disable
the use of the Meta key for showing the Application launcher through System
Settings > Keyboard > Shortcuts > plasmashell > Activate Application Launcher.
(uncheck 'Meta').
