My daily task is to deal with sensor data. Thus all my data have errors. As it
is, plotting them in LabPlot is inconvenient because one cannot set the plot
type on creation. As it is, I have to:

- select columns on the spreadsheet, then create a plot
- as I always get a line plot but have discrete data, I have now to change the
plot type to marker.

Other programs like MagicPlot offer to select the 3 basic plot types (marker,
line, line+marker) on design, see the attached screenshot.

I think the fix is: LabPlot already offers to select different bar plot types
and it can offer to select different xy-curve types. "xy-plot" should be
renamed to "xy-plot" to make this clear.
