As far as I can tell, OpenCVS is an [unreleased] re-implementation of CVS. It doesn't change the design of the command set or repository format, and it doesn't fix any of the deficiencies of CVS like directory handling, renames, atomic commits, etc. http://opencvs.org/goals.html --Emil
