For now I've always found a workaround to boot my machines to DragonFly (if I've really had to) regardless our crappy interrupt routing (or to be correct - the lack of interrupt routing :P). But now I'm giving up - the machine I got for pkgsrc development (with ICH9 chipset) just doesn't work - I've tried all ideas I have. It actually even boots (although very slowly), but is under constant interrupt load from SATA controller. Therefore no pkgsrc development for now ... ;(
But the question I wanted to ask ... I know several persons who agreed to participate in setting up a bounty (including me) to bring modern interrupt routing into DragonFly, but my impression so far is that regardless of existance (or amount ;) of bounty there is no person willing to take this task. Am I correct or ... ? This really needs to be solved, so, please speak up if you have something constructive to say :). regards, -- Hasso Tepper
