Monitoring and tuning SQL Server performance with multiple tools including, Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler, and Index Tuning. Setting up cluster, replication, log shipping, DR testing and planning, capacity planning. Security setup: database, active directory and windows level. Performance Tuning, Query Optimization. Connectivity and Database Consistency Checks using DBCC Utilities. Excellent analytical and debugging skills. 2008 SQL Server Replication experience is key to this role. Multi-node Cluster setup and support.
