We believe this term should be standardized across Koha. "Self-checkout" (with
a hyphen) is strongly indicated as the correct spelling according to major
online dictionaries and general search results.
While we haven't exhaustively checked every English language variant (GB, US,
AU, etc.), key dictionaries like Collins, Merriam-Webster, and Oxford
consistently define "self-" as a prefix that requires a hyphen in this context.
Standardizing on "Self-checkout" would improve consistency within the Koha
interface and align it with widely accepted English usage, making it clearer
and more professional for all users.
