I used to put out Malamute hair, the under coat was so soft. I used to spin it also.
Now I have a sheltie, much longer hair than a Malamute and curlier too. Nice for spinning if one would care to. She is so small it would take ages to get enough for a project though. Only 8.5 lbs.
