As I mentioned the TButtonPanel (located on the Component Palette under
Misc). Oh, and there is the QSystemTrayIcon component as well.

Lazarus with the LCL is miles ahead... ;-)

Well, I had check and was not able to find it, this is why I asked...
Now I see it. I need more cofee I guess! :) Thanks! I'll try that
right on in my actual project!

Finding a palette component:
- right click on a component in the palette to open the popup menu
- Find component
- type 'pan'
- select TButtonPanel - click 'Select'

Another IDE trick? At least I did not know this.

Not exactly a trick. Unless all menu items in the popup menus are tricks.
I added it last week in half an hour. No big deal. Should I add it to the IDE tricks page? Maybe it is more a 'best pratice'?

BTW, did you see the new IDE trick 'Closing all editor files except one'?

I did see it, and I could explain the behaviour to somebody on IRC, who thought is was a bug (he had his ctrl key down without knowing and then all files closed except the one he wanted to be closed) :-)

Unfortunately it is no use in windows, because the tabs don't have close buttons (x).

Vincent
