Dear comrades; I would like to inform you of a new e-mail list being formed, called Workers' Unity. Here is the description given on the site:
"What passes for the left in the U.S. is in a terrible state. Most left organizations operate and function in ways harmful to the working class and its interests. This list is the place to start breaking down those barriers that wall us off from one another, and organize ourselves into something much more capable and powerful than the sum of our parts -- a rebuilt political party of the working class." Any honest communist interested in building such a party -- regardless if they consider themselves Trotskyist, Maoist, anti-revisionist ML, etc. -- is welcome to join the list. However, the list is NOT a place for mindless fights over historical questions, where old texts are regurgitated on command. This is for thinking communists, honest working class militants who want to build a party that can be the political leadership of the socialist revolution.
