I have just re-installed lesstif-0.93.94 and re-compiled the application 'mMosaic' with this version. The problems reported do not exist any more.
The main window of mMosaic contains several FORM widgets. Originally the FORM widget are created, filled and attached. I changed the order: create, attach, fill. This change was accepted by openmotif-2.2.2 but not by lesstif: when I acti- vated the BUTTON3-POPUP-MENU within the scrolled window, it happened that the scrolled window began to shiver (and some- times the keyboard was blocked so that I had to reset the LINUX system). The scrolledd window shivered because a GraphicExposeEvent was triggered that triggered a GraphicExposeEvent ... I recompiled some previous versions and found that the above mentioned changes were responsible. Replacing the new order by the old order removed the problems.
