Product: LibreOffice
Version: 26.2.2.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Draw

Description:
When exporting the attached A3 document as PDF, the resolution of the images in
the exported file is much lower than in Draw, and lower than any exporting
option.
Key word: FILESAVE
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the file with LibreOffice Draw and go to File -> Export As -> Export as
PDF
2. Set Lossless Compression and leave "Change image resolution" unchecked.
(Alternatively, change the image resolution to 300 DPI or more, and/or set JPEG
compression quality to 100% - the result is always the same).
3. Export file
4. Inspect the foreground image, which contains the owl and is square shaped.
Actual Results:
The foreground image in the exported PDF has a resolution of 500x500 pixels.
Expected Results:
The foreground image in the exported PDF should have a higher resolution.
Around 3500x3500 at 300 DPI. The original image has a resolution of 4500x4500.
