i would not be so sure - bugs do not fix themselves - the success of free software depends as much on the participation of the users as of the developers if you would like to see that program working on your phone, then i highly recommend that you explain the problem on the ring mailing list[1] so that the ring developers become aware of that particular problem [1]: https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/ring
