I now see that there is only a link to the static archives at gnu,

Oops, that is a silly bug.  Thanks for the report,

Thanks for the report.  Can't the type of the key be changed more
easily, without cut and paste?

Sorry for the inconvenience, we have no windows gurus at lilypond
development.
